【Abstract】 Breeders of rapid and slow feathering lines of the Guizhou Brown Fowl were designed by four mating combination (KK×Kw, kk×kw, KK×kw, kk×Kw).Their progenies contained five gene types (KK, Kk, kk, Kw, kw) .Several early characters of the chicks, such as the fettility and the hatchability of selting eggs, the survival .ate, body weight and feed convertion in age of first 8 weeks were observed.
