【Abstract】 A study on epidemic factors and regularity of Schistosomiasis japonica in the mountainous Yizu area in Puge county,Liangshan Yizu Autonomous Prefecture was conducted in 1987-1989, The results showed that the cattle were the most principal source of the Schistosomiasis infection. IPC (Index of Potential contamination) of cattle at the age of 3-8 years old was much higher. Feces on the pasture, the majority of which was excreted by cattle, were very important transmission factors. The ditches beside paddy fields and roads were the most dangerous susceptive zone because of serious Onco-melania, area of Positive Oncomclania is 62% of Oncomelania area. Infection rate of human being at the age of 31-40 years old was higher. RTI (Relative Transmission Index) between human being and cattle were 2.6% and 97.4% respectively. The opportunity rate, of which a hatchable Schistosoma egg in feces of human being got to the place where Oncomelanin lived in, was 0.401-0.620.更多还原
