【Abstract】 A new method of citrus shoot-tip-grafting was tested which does not need the con-trolled conditions in phytotrons and might simplify the procedures of grafting and shortenthenpropagation cycles.Seeds of Poncirus trifoliata were sown in sterilized vermiculitemedia or in test tubes 7 days before grafting and kept in dark under ambient temperature(21～30℃).The leaf primodia 0.2～0.4 mm in length taken from the shoot tips ofWashington navel orange(Citrus sinensis)were grafted by sticking onto the out surface ofthe trifoliate orange seedlings and the grafted plants were transplanted onto the open fieldtwo to three weeks later.The survival rate of the grafted plants was as high as 88.89%,andwhen they were grafted onto a general stock,the survival rate amounted to 95%～100%.E(?)amined by the indexing Plant Etrog Citron Arizona-861-S-1,they were shownto be exocortis-free.更多还原
