【Abstract】 The factors that influence carotenoid formation of strain S-1 which is regarded preliminarily as Rhodopseudomonas sphaeroids has been studied. Through exploring the cultural conditions such as light intensity, carbon suorces, nitrogen sources, temperature, pH, growth factors and inorganic salt.etc, the suitable conditions for carotenoid formation have been founded, and the evidences for exploiting carotenoid of photosynthetic bacteria are provided.更多还原
