【Abstract】 A method of preparation of portable X-ray radiographic ¹²⁵I point source is reported. ¹²⁵I was extracted into CC1₄ solvent with an oxidizing agent in an acidic medium. The organic phase was separated from aqueous solution by centrifugation. Then a radioactive point source was prepared by adsorption of ¹²⁵I on activated charcoal particles from the organic solvent under shaking condition. The total recovery efficiency of ¹²⁵I is more than 90% .The source activity may be as much as 400GBq.更多还原
