【Abstract】 In this paper,based on the modified potential energy functional and by introducing in the generalized conforming conditions, a linearly generalized conforming rectangular element for analyzing thin plate with 12 degrees of freedom,LGC-R12,is developed.The formulation is as simple as that of the conventional non-conforming element, but high accurate results can be obtained.It is shown that the present element can always pass patch test and converge to precise solutions.更多还原
