【Abstract】 Esterification of acetic acid with ethanol over HZSM-5 and phosphorus modified HZSM-5 was investigated. TPD and XRD techniques were referred to in discussing the effects of phosphorus in HZSM-5 on catalyst and catalytic reactions. Experimental results showed that when HZSM-5 was modified by phosphorus, side reactions were effectively restrained.
