【Abstract】 In this paper the strengthening mechanism of fibre cement is studied. A concept of discounted elastic modulus usually used in the composite material mechanics is introduced to clarify the real difference of strengthening mechanisms between the fibre reinforced concrete and fibre cement. Then an unified mechanism of strengthening is established. This mechanism is able to explain some phenomena occurring in fibre cement which can’t be explained by composite material mechanics.更多还原
