【Abstract】 In this paper, we have introduced a type of speech synthesis system using cascade/parallel formant structure. The advantage of this system over some other synthesis system using special-purpose hardware are its easy calibration, flexible structure and high stability, etc. Besides, by means of formant synthesis, we gain an economical way of saving and transmitting speech information by reducing the memory and the transmission bandwidth.更多还原
