【Abstract】 Utilizing the Sampson series solution of the axisymmetric outer and inner Stokes flow the exact solution is obtained for the axisymmetric stretching Stokes flow around a spherical liquid drop under large surface tension. The expressions of the exact solution are simple and closed in form. The streamline pattern, the influence of the viscosity ratio on the inner and outer flow and the velocity, the pressure distribution for the inner flow are analysed in detail.更多还原
