【Abstract】 Erythrocyte superoxide dismutase (ESOD) activities of peripheral blood -were measured in 10 patients with lymphoma, in 24 patients with myelogenous leukemia, and in 30 normal adults. A marked reduction of ESOD activity was found in 80% patients with untreated lymphoma, and in 33% patients with non-remission leukemia, but an increase of ESOD activity was noted in 13% patients with non-remission leukemias.
