【Abstract】 Anti-chloramphcnicol antisera with high specificity and affinity were raised in rabbits against an antigen prepared by coupling chloramphenicol to bovine serum albumin.A radioimmunoassay for chloramphenicol was developed by using the antisera. The limit of detection was 20 pg/tube. The working range was 50-3 200 pg. The recovery was 95.5%±8.7%. The coefficients of variation of intra-assay and inter-assay weree 4.1% and 8.9% respectively.
