【Abstract】 Analytical approximations have been developed to study the cutoff characteristicsof nonlinear TE waves on a symmetric slab waveguide. Analytical formulas are de-rived for the calcuation of cutoff values on the waveguide. It is shown that the ac-curacy of our formulas is still very high even if the optical power density is large.更多还原
