【Abstract】 Based on recent materials from our geological survey in the north shallow region of the Liaodong Bay during 1988-1989, the following sedimentation features have been found: (1) Average transportation rate of sediments from coastline to sea is 20m a year and the rate in the west is larger than that in the east of this region. (2) Sedimentation rate is about 2cm a year on the average and the rate in the west is also larger than that in the east. (3) Grain size of sediments is coarser in the east than in the west. Therefore, it can be thought that hydrodynamic energy is larger in the east than in the west in this region.更多还原
