【Abstract】 A silver colloid staining techniqne to identify nucleolar organize region associated protein (Ag-NOR) has been applied to 46 cutaneous tumours. These comprised 9 papillomas, 14 basal cell carcinomas and 23 squamous cell carcinomas. It was observed that average of papillomas was 1.3 Ag-NORs per nucleus, basal cell carcinomas 5.6 Ag-NORs per nucleus, and number of AgNORs for squamous cell carcinoma was varied between 2.4 and 5.3 depending on their differentiation. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.01) . It is suggested that technique may be of use for diagnosis of cutaneous neoplasm.更多还原
