【Abstract】 The drugs benefiting vital energy and activity Blood are composed of Ligusticum Wallichii and Astragalus membranaceus. The experiments on toxicity irritation anaphylaxis and hemolysis have been studied. In mice the single dose LD₅0 of drugs benefiting vital energy and activating Blood were 618.5 （ip） and 165.9 （iv） g/kg. In rats the results of chronic tox- icity showed that drugs benefiting vital energy and actvaiting Blood had no striking influence on functions of the live and kidney. The specific pathological change of histology has not been seen by microscopy. The dffects of hemolysis and anaphylaxis were not seen, but the effect of irritation was seen in hypodermic injection.更多还原
