【Abstract】 Discussion is made about the working principles of the CNC 7-axis drill grinding machine and the drill grinding processes of the multifacet drill(Ni Chihfu Drill ) and the common twist drill. with the conical surface as the mathematic model for the drill point flank, calculations are conducted on the computer and a series of drill grinding parameters are obtained corresponding to the structural parameters oi the drill.
