【Abstract】 Mixtures of cholesteryl chloride, cholesteryl oleic carbolate and cholesteryl esters (M.W.<500) were analyzed with packed column GC-MS directly. When the molecular weights of cholesteryl esters are over 500, the identification is aided by analysis of methyl esters with capillary column GC-MS after conversion of the sample into corresponding methyl carboxylate. This method gives a satisfactory result in characterization of liquid crystal mixtures.更多还原
