【Abstract】 In this paper, using the monthly mean total ozone data of 116 ozone observational stations over the Northern Hemisphere during the period from Jan. 1958 to Dec. 1986 and by harmonic analysis, the averaged characteristics of the periodic oscillation of the total ozone for a year, half a year, quasi-biennial, quasi-quadrennial and quasi-11 years have been exposed.
