【Abstract】 Some 66 species of butterflies, belonging to 45 genera of 10 families in Mao’er Mountain and their distributions are briefly presented in this paper. Among the many dominant species in this forestry area are Kallima inachus chinensis Swinhoe of typical mimicry and Papilio polytes L., Papilio bianor Cramer; Argynnis hyperbius L, Stichophthalma howqua westw.
