【Abstract】 Three new species of grasshoppers from Guangxi, China are reported in this paper. They belong to genera Gonista Bolivar, Tristria Stal and Tonkinacris Carl, respectively. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Biology, Guangxi Academy of Sciences (Nanning). Gonista damingshanus sp. nov. ( figs: 1-5) This new species is closely related to G. yunnana Zheng but distinguishable by the following characters: (1) apex of vertex sharper; (2)supoaanal plate of male triangular, with a short-wide longitudinal furrow on centre of base of plate; (3)two lateral earinae of pronotum of female narrower distinctly between midian and posterior transverse sulci; (4)supraanal plate of female long oval shape, apex obtuse, the plate is divided into two parts by a transverse suclus, either part with a longitudinal suclus, but the basal one deeper than the other.
