【Abstract】 Vein mineral——topaz in a mining area, Guangxi may be divided into three generations,in which crystals of topaz of the third generation are of colorless and transparency,more than0.9 ct,and flaws are unnoticeable. Density(3.50), hardness (7.8430) and the refractiveindex (1.6330) are characterizecd by being within the reach of the gem grade.
