贺兰山东麓新构造运动特征初探
AN APPROACH TO THE CHARACTERISTICS OF NEOTECTONIC MOVEMENT IN THE EASTERN FOOT OF HELAN MTS
【摘要】 本文根据贺兰山东麓断裂带和地貌特征,讨论了断裂带活动的方式、次数和力学性质,表明新构造运动在不同地段造成不同地貌,但又受断裂整体活动的控制具统一性。确定晚更新世以来经历4次剧烈的活动,具右旋性质,并且构造相对稳定时间呈缩短趋势。
【Abstract】 The eastern foot of Helan Mts, locating at the juncture between the fault block ofErdousi and Alashan, is a famous active fracture zone and also the northern end of theearthquake belt which strethes from south to north in China. The fracture zone, which has120km long, 10-15km wide, running 38°NE, consisted of a series of normal fault. It con-troled the evolution of the Quaternary environment in the eastern and western of the moun-tains. The west is the fault block of Helan Mts whose highest peak is 3 556m, and has beenraised since late Mesozoic era and dissected intensify, developed diluvial fan.The east is thedepressed graben of Yinchuan plain which altitude is 1100-1300m,and.showed a landform ofblock Mts and depressing basin which are controlod by Huanghe fracture of the eastern ofYinchuan graben. The study indicated that about 4 times tectonic movement have occured in the fracturezone and relative stable period.is decreasing. The zone formed step-shape toward the centreof basin because of the plate movement of Indian and Pacific and also extruded byQing-Zang plateau rising. Three Sections of geomorphologic land stape in eastern Helan Mtsnot only are controled by the fault zone, but also related to ancient earthquake action in bothpinlou and Yinchuan areas.
