【Abstract】 The superoxide anion radical■ produced in alkaline dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) system is directly measured at low temperature by electron paramegneticresonance (EPR). The intensity of EPR signal of ■ ion which increases with theconcentration of NaOH and with the reaction time and decreases with the amount ofwater in the system.
