【Abstract】 In this paper a new species of the genus Meata is described: The type specimen is kept in the Department of Biology, Hunan Normal University.Meata fungi for mis sp. nov. (figs. 1-5)Holotype ♀, Mengla, Yunan Province (21°N, 101°E), August 6, 1981.Female Total length 4.30mm, length of cephalothorax 1.65mm, length of abdomen 2.70mm,length of eye field 0.75mm, width of eye field 1 1.10mm, width of eye field Ⅲ 1.00mm, Cephalothorax orange-brown with darker eye field, surroundings of eye Ⅱ and Ⅲ black. Legs yellowish-orange. Abdoman round, light grey, with traces of darker patches. Epigyne (figs. 3, 4 and 5) with a depression in anterior part. Duct of spermathecae in the shape of funnel, spermattecae mushroom-like.The new species differs from Meata typica Zabka, 1985 in the structures of female epig-ynum aad chelicera.更多还原
