Ti:LiNbO3 4×4光开关阵列
Ti:LiNbO3 4×4 INTEGRATED OPTIC SWITCH AT 1.3 μm
【摘要】 介绍了研制成功的全封装、带单模尾纤的 Ti:LiNbO3 4×4光开关阵列。该阵列单元采用 BOA 型 X 波导,由六个单元集成于同一衬底上构成4×4光开关阵列。开关阵列的性能已经测定:光纤—器件—光纤的总插入损耗<10 dB,串音衰减>20 dB,开关电压≈20 V,工作波长 λ=1.3μm,3dB 带宽>500 MHz。
【Abstract】 The operation of a fully packaged and pigtailed Ti:LiNbO3 4×4 integratedoptic switch with an operating wavelength of 1.3μm is fabricated.The switch array consistsof six interconnected BOA-type-X waveguide.The devices operate at～21V,and have fiber-device-fiber insertion loss less than 10 dB and extinction ratio about-20 dB,3 dB bandwidthis greater than 500 MHz.
