LiNbO3光波调制器的优化设计
OPTIMAL DESIGN OF LiNbO3 ELECTROOPTIC WAVEGUIDE MODULATOR
【摘要】 在分析了外加电场对 LiNbO3光波导导模作用的基础上,将外加信号引起的相移分解为理想相移和归一化相移,从而建立了一种对光波导调制器横向尺寸和纵向结构进行优化设计的新方法,并以共面波导强度调制器为例,给出了四组优化设计结果。
【Abstract】 Based on the analysis of the effect of the applied electric field on the guided modein LiNbO3 optical waveguide,the shift phase produced by the external signal is divided into theideal and normalized shift.A new optimization method of the transverse dimensions andthe longitudinal configuration of the electrooptic waveguide modulator is proposed.As exam-ples,four sets of optimal design are given for the coplanar waveguide modulator.
