切屑厚度和刀刃磨损量对木材加工表面温度影响的研究

【摘要】 为了掌握在木材切削中工件加工表面的温度,用高灵敏度红外线辐射温度计,查明了切屑厚度(t)和刀刃磨损量(Lf)对切削而产生的加工表面温度(θ)的影响。结果表明,切屑厚度愈小,刀刃磨损量愈大,则加工表面的温度愈高。θ和t之间,无论Lf的大小如何,它们之间成立如下关系,即θ=Bt-m(式中B和m为与Lf有关的常数),而且存在着尺寸效应。考虑到存在尺寸效应的主要原因在于刀刃的圆角,实验测出了同样具有尺寸效应的单位切削力以及与加工表面的特性密切相关的垂直分力,并求得了它们与加工表面温度之间的关系。

【Abstract】 In order to obtain the fundamental knowledge for the temperature on cutting surface, the effect of the nominal thickness (t) and the edge recession of tool (Lf) on the temperature of cutting surface (θ) was examined by the infrared radiation thermometer. The temperature (θ) get high with the decrease of the chip thickness and with the inercase of the edge recession. The relationship between θ and t for grades of Lf is as follows: θ= Bt-m, where B and m are constants related to the edge recession. This relation shows that there exists a size effect on the temperature of cutting surface. As it seems that the size effect is mainly resulted from the rounded cutting edge. The unit cutting force with the same size effect and the vertical component of force related to the characters of the cutting surface has been determined, meanwhile, the relationship between them and the temperature of cutting surface has also been presented.
