SiC/铸铁基复合材料结合界面

【摘要】 利用金相显微镜、扫描电镜和图像分析仪等检测手段,研究了离心渗铸铁基陶瓷颗粒复合材料的结合界面。结果表明:粒子在基体中分布均匀,粒子含有率可达23%—32%;粒子与基体界面无元素富集,无反应产物,但加热至 900℃,保留 180 min后,SiC 开始有少量分解,Si 向基体方向扩散,C 在粒子周围富集;复合材料比基体材料耐磨性提高 40倍。

【Abstract】 Studies the bond interfaces in a cast-iron based com positc material with granular SiC ceramics, which was processed through spun-in casting, by means of metallography, SEM and image microanalyzer, etc. The result indicates that the granular ceramics are distributed uniformly in the matrix cast-iron with a content up to 23%-32%. No element enrichment and reaction products were found at the interfaces between granular ceramics and the matrix. However, if heating the composite material up to 900℃ then holding it for 180 minutes, a few of SiC ceramics will begin dissolving and silicon will diffuse toward the matrix. Carbon will thus be enriched around granular ceramics.It is proved that such a composite material has wearability 40 times as larger as conventional spun-inca st iron.
