【Abstract】 The prescribed minimum pressure for explosive compaction of powder is presented here in a simple form,which is based on the model for the deposition of energy at powder particle surfaces during compaction. The experimental results show that the densities and the distributions of hardness of compacts are dependent principally on the initial packing density of the powder. It is also demonstrated theoretically that the initial powder characters including packing density and specific surface area play important roles in explosive compaction.更多还原
