【Abstract】 Zhishi (Fructus Aurontii Immaturus) is one of the important Chinese herbs for regulating qi. After pouring 1 ml/kg 100% concentrated solution of Zhishi down the stomaches of dogs, that the changes of the cyclic duration for IDMEC and phase I in the small intestines were appeared earlier and phase Ⅱ was lasted longer has been observed and recorded with 4 channles polygraph, microcomputer and data statistics. The experimental results indicated that Zhishi could increase the tonic degree of smooth muscles and the phasic constraction of the small intestines. Therefore it may provide a modern scienticfic experimental basis for the treatment of diseases such as stagnation of qi due to food accumulation, fullness of chest and abdomen, hernia, prolapse of rectum, and etc. with Zhishi and its complex prescription.更多还原
