【Abstract】 The plasma ANF levels of 15 healthy persons and 8 patients carrying long-term ventricular pacemakers (speciman taken before cardiac pacing, at the end of 15 minutes and one week of pacing respectively) were determined by radioimmuno assay. The ANF levels of plasma taken at the end of 15 minutes of pacing were significantly higher than that of before pacing. After one week of pacing the plasma ANF levels were similar to that of before pacing. These findings suggest that ventricle pacing may produce a transient raise of plasma ANF concentration.更多还原
