【Abstract】 Eighty seven cases （age 17-68） with malignant parotid tumor were treated bysurgery and/or radiotherapy, 78.3% were in stage 3 or 4. The overall 5-and 10-yearsurvival rates were 59.8% and 48.1% respectively.8/87 patients received pre-and 68/87received post-operative radiotherapy and 11/87 received radiotherapy only, each grouphad a 5-year survival rate of 62.5%, 58.8% and 63.6% respectively. Among 68 post-operative radiotherapy cases, 21 received local resection, 37 received total resectionplus radical neck dissection, and 10 received superficial lobe or total resection, eachgroup hada 5-year survival rate of 28.6%, 64.9% and 100% respectively. Electronbeam plus ⁶⁰Co radiation beam with a tumor dose of 5000-7000 cGy/5-7 weeks arerecommended.更多还原
