作物化学杂交育种的实践与展望
PRACTICE AND OUTLOOK OF CROP BREEDING WITH CHEMICAL HYBRIDIZING AGENTS
【摘要】 三十多年来,化学杂交剂(CHA)的研究和利用极大地促进了作物化学杂交育种体系的形成和发展。本文重点综述了CHA在作物育种中的应用现状,系统地论述了作物化学杂交育种的原理方法。主要内容包括:(1)CHA的种类,最佳施用时期及其作用机理;(2)化学杂交优势(包括F1和F2代)利用的研究;(3)CHA在作物常规育种及群体改良中的作用;(4)核基因型雄性不育性的化学恢复的可能性和研究现状;(5)作物化学杂交育种技术研究与利用的前景。
【Abstract】 More than 30-year studies and utilizations of chemical hybridizing agents(CHA)have greatly promoted the establishment and development of crop hybridization breeding with CHA.A review of the current status of CHA is presented in this paper with emphasis on the application of CHA technology in crop breeding. Further more, the philosophy and practice of crop breeding with CHA is systematically described. The main-contents are: (1) A review of the sort of CHA, the optimum growth stage for CHA application, and the action mechanism of CHA.(2) Study on the utilizations of chemical hybrid vigor of both F1 and F2 generations.(3) The investigations of crop improvement with CHA. Allusions have aiready been made to the fact that CHA can be valuable breeding tools such as in the production quantities of hybrid seed with ease and the replacement of hand emasculations as well as the use in recurrent selection programs. (4) The possibifity and reality of chemical restoration of genetic male sterility have been briefly reviewed. (5) Future prospecis of the crop hybridization breeding technique with CHA have been discussed.
