【Abstract】 Authors began to do researches on "three- line" intersubspecific(indica and japonica)hyb- rid rice in 1985,and a series of intersubspecific (indica and japonica)hybrid combinations adap- table for early,medium and late season had been developed till 1989.Their panicle size,seed set rate and 1000-grain-weight are all superior to those of leading conventional rice varieties and intervarietal hybrid rice vareties with cor- responding growth duration.
