【Abstract】 Indigenous tree species resources in Kaihua county are analysed on the basis of the data of forest vagetation investigations. Combining importance value and frequency value with growth characters of tree species, good indigenous species are choosed. They can be divided into three types: (1) fast-growing timber tree species 29, (2) naked-mountain pioneers 12, and (3) fuelwood forest species 25.
