【Abstract】 In the present experiment,the highest basalpain threshold of the rats was observed at 17:00while the lowest at 23:00.Electroacupuncture analg-esia(EAA)was most effective at 11:00 and wasleast at 5:00 with significant difference as comparedwith the control.Also there was markable differencebetween the two times of the day in the effectiven-ess of electroacupuncture(EA).EA induced a ma-ximal and markable increase of plasma corticosteronelevel at 23:00 with a significant difference as com-pared with that at 17:00.These results suggest thatthe effects of EA are different at different timesof a day.and plasma corticosterone may not be in-volved in EAA.更多还原
