宁夏香山—天景山断裂带晚第四纪强震重复间隔的研究
STUDY ON RECURRENCE INTERVALS OF GREAT EARTHQUAKES IN THE LATE QUATERNARY OF XIANGSHAN-TIANJINGSHAN FAULT ZONE IN NINGXIA
【摘要】 香山—天景山断裂带晚第四纪的活动性表现为东强西弱。通过开挖探槽,获得的古地震研究结果表明:在时间上晚更新世末期事件多而间隔短,全新世时间间隔相对加长;在空间上东段的全新世古地震事件多于西段,古地震震级也以东段为强。从断裂带东段全新世平均滑动速率求出的强震平均重复间隔为2000多年,小于古地震研究得到的时间间隔。
【Abstract】 The eastern segment of th Xiangshan-Tianjingshan fault zone is more active than the western segment in late Quaternary. The trench research on paleoearthquakes in the fault zone has shown that large events in the late period of late pleistooene are more frequent,but the time intervals are short, while time intervals in holocene become relatively longer. Spatialy, there are more Holocene paleo-events in the eastern segment than in the western one. The magnitude of the evnts in the eastern segment are relatively larger.The average recurrence intervals of large events on eastern segment,estimated from slip rates in Hclocene is about 2,000 years, which is shorter than the result obtained from paloearthquake research.
