【Abstract】 The experimental results showed that the number of seeds per pod was seriously reduced by pod shading, and slightly increased by pruning.The critical period of the seed formation was spheriod phase ( about 3-4 to 8-9 days after the stage) .In the phase, the spheriod is most sensitive to environmental conditions, especially light intensity.If there was no enough light intensity,endosperm cells would develop imperfectly,or collapse early, and couldn’t provide nutrisnt and produce growth substances to embryo.The light intensity was about 15 per cent of natural to produce average number of seeds per pod.更多还原
