【Abstract】 Trapaceae has only one genus.It was described as“submersed leaf, posite,pinnatifid,and radiciform”in the literatures at home and aproad.In fact,after observing and studying tge genus for several years, the author considers that the genus is not a submersed leaf but a modified stipule which develops from a submersed stipule with lengthening and thickening margens to form a lot of minuscular,nodular growing points which attach to the either side of the submersed leaf scars,In this paper,the author describes and discusses the developing process of trapa L.in detail.更多还原
