【Abstract】 The improved radioimmunoassay for the detection of free and conjugated abscisic acids(F-ABA and C-ABA)by using only one antibody is reported in this paper. F-ABA and C-ABA of crude extracts of leaves were separated from each other by differential solvent extraction, then the total ABA of crude extracts of leaves and F-ABA in organic phase were determined with one antibody which can measure both F-ABA and C-ABA. The amount of C-ABA was calculated by differentiation.The changes of F-ABA and C-ABA in Okitsu Wase Satsuma(Citrus unshiu Marc.)leaves were analysed. (The results showed a regularity of the two forms of ABA under three conditions reported. ) Before the appearance of the maxium cold hardiness, F-ABA and C-ABA reached the highest and lowest points respectively, and the reverse of this happened before the hardiness vanished thoroughly. All results obtained suggested that there was a close relationship between the cold hardiness and the changes of the two froms of ABA.更多还原
