【Abstract】 Based on factor analysis to data from many cognitive tests,Guilfordhad raised a intellect model by speculating theoretically,which included 120factors.By 1970,98 factors had been demonstrated.In 1977,he madedevelopments in this model:(1)increasing the amount of first-orderfactors,(2)finding out second-order factors and third-order factors,and(3)further specifying the roles of 5 operations in problem-solving.Thesedevelopments tell us that,to understanding the complex whole of intelligenc-e,we should not only analyze it from several demensions,but also reco-gnize the existance of the general factor and the relationships amongfactors.At present,factor analysis is still proved to be a good methodin researches on intelligence and abilities,and it will facillate the resea-rches in the fields with component analysis in the future,更多还原
