【Abstract】 By exposuring eyes of mice to ultraviolet light for 2 and 1 hr, their retinas showed similar lesions in our transmission electron microscopic study. There were increased number of lamellar inclusion bodies in the retinal pigment epithelium. The outer segments of photoreceptor showed focal destruction of disk membranes and formation of granular substance. Mitochondria in the inner segments became swollen. Marked vaeuolation was found in the inner plexiform layer. No damage was seen after twenty minutes exposure.更多还原
