【Abstract】 Antibacterial activity of josamycin was determined. Sensitivity rates of 43 strains of S.aurens and S.epidermidis for josamycin and erythromycin were 81% and 54% respectively. MIC50s of josamycin against 26 strains of Peptococcus and Pep-tostreptococcus, and 28 strains of Bacteroides were 0.5 and 2 mg/L respectively. Thirty-four patients with boils, nasal sinusitis, otitis or oral infection were treated with josamycin. Thirty patients were cured and 4 improved. Thirty three strains were isolated in 31 patients. The pathogen was eradicated in all but 1 patient. Mild dizziness, epigastric pain and nausea occurred one each in 3 patients .更多还原
