【Abstract】 Under normal planting condition, the blooming period of lotus cultured in pot or vat is from the middle ten days of June to August. Using the technic of cutting rhizome in lotus propagation, the blooming period could be extended to the first ten days, of October. This is a propagation way for lotus to extend blooming period.
