【Abstract】 With the support of experiments, this paper discusses the characteristics of the parameters of salient synchronous machines determined by the method of applied voltage with special position of the pole axis. Contrary to traditional views, this paper does not think these parameters are alway. supertransient. Under some circumstances, they can also be transient.
