【Abstract】 In recent years, China has become a major import country ofwood products due to the shortage of forest resources. But wood raw ma-terials haven’t been .well utilized. The gap between supply and demandhas been increasing and it may rise from 20 million,m~3 in 1987 to 80million m~3 in 2000. According to t he experiences of many foreigncountries, the only way to solve the problem is to save wood resources byraising utilization level of raw materials. And intensive forest managementis necessary to ensure adequate supply. The authors make some suggestionson the strategy of wood resources saving for decision making of thegovernment.更多还原
