【Abstract】 A new spcctrophotometric method for the determination of trace nitrite in water is presented based on the formation of a stable water soluble purple azo compound by 1-naphthy laminc-5-sulfonic acid and 1-naphthol under the action of nitrite. The molar absorptivity is 2.7×l0~4and Beer’s law is obey cdat least in the range 0-12.89μgN/ 25ml.The scnsitivity,prccisionand selectivity arc good.The reaction is fast and operation is easy.更多还原
