【Abstract】 An experimental study on noise reduction of AX-100 motorcycle is pr- esented. Major noise source of motorcycle was distinguished to be its en-gine through vehicle on-road tests in a runway of a airport, and majornoise source of the engine was distinguished to be the exhaust flow th-rough engine dynamometer test in an anechoic room. Exhaust silencer wasimproved and the on-road acceleration noise emission of AX-100 motorcy-cle was reduced to the level corresponding to that of the national high-class products without deterioration of its power and fuel economy.更多还原
