棉花“自交混繁法”原种生产技术研究

【摘要】 常异花授粉作物群体中存在的少量异交,对自交纯合产生严重的拮抗作用,因而在育种过程中保留较多的剩余变异。棉花品种退化的实质,是杂合体组成的不平衡群体逐步达到遗传平衡的过程。棉花良种繁育技术的核心应是控制授粉下的自交纯合,选择并建立典型一致的基础群体。本研究证实了棉花个体的遗传杂合性,分析了优良品种多代选株自交的遗传效应。据此,提出了棉花原种生产的“自交混繁法”。经实际应用表明,能有效地保持原品种的优良种性,而且比传统的“三圃制”方法更简便易行,节工省本。

【Abstract】 Usually there is more residual variation in a variety population of partial cross-polli-nated plant.In fact,upland cotton varietal deterioration is a process from the unbalanced tobalanced population in genetics.Setting up the procedure for producting stock seed with typi-cal characters of variety through selfing and selection should be the technical key to im-proving upland cotton seed production.The results in this paper showed that there wasgenetical heterozygosity among plants within a cotton variety population.Genetic effects ofselfing were also analysed in this experiment.From the point of view above,a new techniqueof improved upland cotton seed production,which is named “Combination of Selfing withMass Reproduction(CSMR)”,is presented.The results through reginal testing in JiangsuProvince during the period of 1987~1988 suggested that CSMR was simpler and more effec-tive than the traditional technique named “Three Nurseries” and could maintain typical char-acter of cotton variety very well.
